Help for your Physical
and Metaphysical Heart

On July 17, 2005, the planet Saturn went into the sign Leo. This happens once every thirty years, and the energy will continue for a period of two years until September 2007. Saturn is a teacher, and often challenges us through hardship or major lessons. Ultimately it is good, because we grow and get stronger and clearer, as we rise to meet the various challenges that show up in our lives. Saturn wants to help us get rid of what is holding us back, to make room for better things in our life, but it is sometimes difficult to make such necessary changes. We often hang onto things that are no longer for our Highest good: a bad relationship, a dead-end job, a poor self-image, and so on. Although making changes can be quite challenging, we are often greatly rewarded at the end of this cycle, when we get to experience our “new self” that has emerged as a result of the changes we've made.

Leo rules the heart, back, spine, spleen, heart, aorta, and circulation. So, during this time, challenges could happen for some with those parts of the body, e.g. heart problems, hardening of the arteries, high or low blood pressure, spinal and back problems, and blood disorders. Having a good, trustworthy chiropractor for physical support would be ideal at this time! Metaphysically speaking, this would be a good time to clear programming that would make all those body parts dysfunction. Issues around feeling loved, loving oneself, feeling supported (financially and emotionally), and enjoying being in life could all "come up for review" at this time.

Just before Saturn went into Leo last July, I met a health practitioner who turned me onto a very wonderful herbal program, created by Hannah Kroeger, that helps clean out the arteries and improve circulation. She told me anyone nearing 50 years old should do this program. I was intrigued and decided to try it. I did the program and was quite satisfied with the results. Intuitively, I got that taking the supplements for the prescribed length of time had helped reduce “clog” in my arteries and improved my circulation a substantial amount (i.e., from 33% clogged to 2% clogged). Some people I tested were 35-49% clogged, with my father at 90% clogged at the time he needed to have double by-pass surgery on his heart.

Getting your arteries unclogged is a great idea… especially during the remaining year and a half period while Saturn is going through Leo. This certainly has been one of those "timely" discoveries! Call our office to get this herbal protocol (512/ 301-2999). Angela can take your order. This will help you to be more "in the flow" this year and for many years to come!

Another recommendation: Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) EFAs must be obtained through our diet, as we are not able to create them on our own. EFAs are long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids that come from linoleic, linolenic, and oleic acids. There are two kinds that we need to take: Omega-3 and Omega-6. Omega-9 is still necessary, but classified as "non-essential" because the body is able to produce a small amount on its own, as long as the other two types of EFAs are present. EFAs support the cardiovascular, immune, nervous and reproductive systems. Most importantly, EFAs help regulate body functions such as heart rate, blood pressure, blood clotting, fertility, conception, and the support the body’s ability to fight infection.

EFA deficiency is common in the United States, particularly Omega-3. This deficiency is linked with serious health conditions, such as heart attacks, cancer, asthma, obesity, diabetes, depression, arthritis, postpartum depression, stroke, obesity, ADHD, accelerated aging, and Alzheimer's. The minimum recommended intake for both linolenic (Omega-3) and linoleic (Omega-6) acid in one’s diet, for an adult, per day is 1.5 grams of each. One tablespoon of flaxseed oil can give you this amount. Unfortunately, cooking in linolenic-rich oils or eating cooked fish which is rich in linolenic acid will probably not give you enough of what you need, because high heat destroys the valuable properties of the oil. You can get Omega 3 and Omega 6 at your local health food store.

If you have a way to “muscle test” yourself or if you feel competent using a pendulum, this is a great way to figure out which is best for you. If not, try this: Look at all the different oils. Feel free to read the labels and get information from them. Then, (you can close your eyes for this one if you like), hold the bottle and notice how your body feels. If the bottle is particularly good for you, you might get a feeling of happiness or upliftment, or just a good feeling in your body. All oils are not the same, so you're asking your body to help you determine which one is best for YOU!

Everyone is different. Be open to how your body gives you information. It’s subtle, but the message will be there for you. You can practice doing this until you feel confident that you’re tuning in to what your body is "saying." You may work out a system with your body, as to what a "yes" feels like and what a "no" feels like. Experiment and see what happens. You’ll get better at it with time, as you learn to trust your deepest instincts. The oils are generally in the refrigeration section of your local health food store, while capsules containing oil are found on the shelves. Check expiration dates. Your body says "no" sometimes if the product is old or has gone bad for some reason.

It’s quite surprising that so many people are clueless about EFAs, and it's no wonder that America’s "favorite" disease is heart disease! Of course, a deep lack of self-love due to old, subconscious programming can be a major contributing factor to this as well! So now is the time to clean out your arteries and nourish your heart!!

I am now willing to love and honor myself for who I am.

It's now easy for me to love being who I am and enjoy participating in life.

I now flow freely with all the changes that are taking place in my world.

I am lovable. People naturally love and accept me for who I am.

The Love Oracle is designed to shed light on all the various relationship situations you encounter in life. It is packed with words of wisdom, clarity, and advice to help you gain insight into yourself and your interactions with others. The object of the Game is to ask questions in order to gain insight into a particular problem or challenging situation as far as love and relationships are concerned. When you are the one playing, ask a question about a situation you are in by typing it as indicated. The purpose of the game is to help you clarify various love and relationship issues.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I would be remiss not to remind you of my two wonderful books that can help you heal your relationship issues: "Prince Charming Lives! (Princess Charming Does Too)" and "Love Now, Here's How." They help you to work on your own subconscious patterns, in order to attract the best possible match in a mate. If you're already in a relationship, they help you to clear your own negative patterns, so that you don't project them onto your partner in order to "see" and heal them.

Both books help you to take responsibility for your side of the equation in relationships, so that when you experience problems in the relationship, you feel empowered to work on yourself in order to change the problematic situation. As long as you’re stuck in blame, it's hard to ever experience the change you desire in your relationship partner! In addition, both books have several excellent techniques in them, to help you effectively overcome your old subconscious blocks to letting in more Love and Light.

If you've read them, great! This might be a good time to "dive in" again and reinforce all that you've learned in the past. Growth never stops. Each time you read and work with the books, new layers of yourself are revealed to you, to help you make more progress and move forward in your life and relationships.

If you haven't worked with the books yet, this would be a great time to do so. Taking special heart-nurturing supplements AND working on yourself to let more love in are two sure-fire ways to create the healthiest, happiest heart in town!

Thank you for your support and for your desire to grow and become more of the Light that you are. May your Light shine on all your friends and loved ones, and uplift them through out our new year!

Many blessings… and Happy Valentine’s Day!!
